Please Note #1!
When coming to Camp Butner to shoot, PLEASE do not park or drive on the grass. Stay on the gravel at all times. The NC National Guard has been working hard to grow grass and make the range a great place to shoot. Let's help them keep it that way! Thanks!

Please Note #2!
When entering a Long Range Tournament, you must enter and shoot in only one category in all matches for that tournament. If you shoot in any higher category other than indicated on your ENTRY CARD, that score will not be counted. For example, if you enter in the Palma Rifle category, you must compete in the Palma Rifle category for all matches. You can shoot a Palma Rifle in any match but your scores will be entered in the Any Rifle category as long as you indicated the Any Rifle category on your ENTRY CARD. If you indicated you are shooting Palma Rifle on your ENTRY CARD and you shoot a match with Any Rifle, that score will not be counted. Another example is if you enter in the F/TR category, you must compete in the F/TR category for all matches. You can shoot your F/TR rifle in any match but your scores will be entered in the F/Open category as long as you entered the F/Open category on your ENTRY CARD. If you enter the F/TR category on your ENTRY CARD and shoot F/Open in any match, that score will not be counted.

Please Note #3!
As of June 1, 2008, NSSC will no longer “manage” the assignment or payment of target pullers.  This does NOT mean that pullers will no longer be available, but that shooters will be responsible for hiring and paying of target pullers.  This is an effort to speed up registration and squadding the morning of the match.  NSSC will not regulate rates, however we suggest a minimum of $18-$20 per shooter per day plus any gratuity if service warrants.  Target pullers will be available on a first come, first serve basis based on availability.
