STATE MID-RANGE CHAMPIONSHIP
June 27-28, 2026 (Sat/Sun) 
BRUCE TEACHEY MEMORIAL

Registration starts at 07:00 in the pits. Firing will begin at 08:00 daily with 4 relays.

Rules: Current NRA High Power Rules will apply. Note: Eye protection is required while on the firing line. This is a NCNG rule that we all must follow.

Rifles allowed: All rifles listed in High Power, Fullbore and F-Class Rule books, rule 3.

Awards:
1. The Bruce Teachey Memorial Trophy will be awarded to the high NC resident sling shooter regardless of type rifle and sights used.

2. There will be separate State Championship plaques for NC residents and place awards in the grand aggregate match in each of the following categories: Any/Match Rifle any sight, Service Rifle, Palma Rifle, AR Tactical Rifle any sight, F Open and F T/R. There will be a State Championship plaque for the highest scoring Junior.

Targets: Electronic Targets will be used.

Relays: Match Director may change starting relay(s) on Sunday dependent on number of relays.

Saturday
MATCH 1    600-yard prone slow fire, unlimited sighters, 20 record shots (22 minutes).
MATCH 2    600-yard prone slow fire, 2 convertible sighters, 20 record shots (22 minutes).
MATCH 3    600-yard prone slow fire, 2 convertible sighters, 20 record shots (22 minutes).
MATCH 4    Aggregate of matches 1 – 3 (for national record only).
    
Sunday
MATCH 5    600-yard prone slow fire, unlimited sighters, 20 record shots (22 minutes).
MATCH 6    600-yard prone slow fire, 2 convertible sighters, 20 record shots (22 minutes).
MATCH 7    600 yard prone slow fire, 2 convertible sighters, 20 record shots (22 minutes).
MATCH 8    Aggregate of matches 5 – 7 (for national record only).
MATCH 9    Aggregate of matches 4 and 8.

Matches 5, 6, 7 will be used towards the NRA Distinguished Rifleman Badge.
